Hello! Everything is lined up for a great afternoon event. The forecast is for 82F with some cloud cover and a light breeze. It’s looking like the rain should hold off for us until Monday. Open house from 4-6, and hike at 2pm. Join us for either or both

Here’s what you need to know:

• Leave your pets at home
• Feel free to admire the yaks from a distance, but respect their space and their electric fence

2pm Hike-Come see one of our more established restoration sites. We will be hiking up on established trails, so don’t let the initial sight of the steep slope scare you off, but be prepared for a few rocky sections. The views will be well worth it!

4-6pm open house, picnic meal and 5pm short program- Join us for our open house style social time and picnic, and then at 5 learn about our new non-profit.

• Camp chairs and/or a picnic blanket- we will not have tables/chairs available 
• Insect repellant
• Water bottle (optional- we will have cups and drinks)

Picnic Menu (no cost)– served from 4-6pm or until gone

• Smoked pig

• Fire roasted beef ribs & flank

• Fire roasted goat

• Macaroni and cheese

• Baked beans

• Veggie tray

• Water and fresh lemonade
