Josh and Sarah Lallaman are co-founders of Restoravore. With a PhD in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences, Josh provides technical expertise on ecological restoration. he has taught environmental conservation at Saint Mary’s University of MN for over a decade. For the past 8 years, he has sustainably grazed a small herd of goats to help restore 40 acres of native prairie and savanna habitat. He has experience partnering with both the local county Soil and Water Conservation District and the US Fish and Wildlife Service to manage restoration grants. Sarah is a pediatrician at Winona Health and you can often find her snuggling the yak babies in her spare time. While she didn’t grow up on a farm like many other members of Restoravore, she has found that the yaks have become a part of her every day life.
